ComEd Electric

Commonwealth Edison Company, more commonly known as ComEd, is one of the country’s largest electricity utilities. Almost 4 million customers in Illinois are serviced by them, which accounts for around 70% of the residents and businesses. ComEd is in the electricity delivery business. This means that their primary responsibility is for the delivery of power to homes and businesses throughout Chicago and Suburbs like Joliet, Alsip, Kankakee, Carpentersville, and Dundee, just to name a few. Because ComEd is an electric utility only delivering electricity, consumers may reduce electric costs by choosing an independent electric supplier such as Santanna Energy Services. Electric suppliers may offer better rates or different programs for your electricity compared to ComEd. ComEd Variable Rate for the Month of October 2018: $0.10698 ComEd Variable Rate for the Month of September 2018: $0.09721
